libeinfo-dev software package provides dependency based init system (pretty control display development), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libeinfo-dev
libeinfo-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libeinfo-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libeinfo-dev *
You will get with libeinfo-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
